Upgrading from Microsoft FrontPage
to Microsoft Expression Web

In January 2007 Microsoft discontinued FrontPage and released Expression Web.

In May 2007 PC Magazine conducted an exhaustive comparison between Adobe’s DreamWeaver and Microsoft’s Expression Web and advised their readers that “Unless you're married to Dreamweaver, Microsoft Expression Web is the web page editor of choice to use for modern, efficient Web sites”.

Microsoft Expression Web is set to become the standard for web page authoring in schools. In NSW the DET and most Catholic dioceses now include it in their standard computer desktop.

This course is designed for people who have previously completed Pedacomp's Microsoft FrontPage course and now wish to switch to using Expression Web.

It is also suitable for anyone experienced with web page authoring using an application other than FrontPage who wishes to become familiar with Expression Web.

The course is not suitable for someone with no experience using web page authoring software (the 2-day course is suitable for those people)

Course features:

  • Provides you with the knowledge of how to complete in Expression Web tasks you are familiar with from FrontPage
